Eva's 14th Birthday!
We woke up early (we wake up early every morning actually because Pippen wakes up early!) and had the first celebration of Eva's Birthday with presents and card (verbal) in the van.I then took my first ride on the fold-up bike with golf clubs to the Connabarabran Golf Club and played 9 holes of golf. I was the only player on the course for the entire time. It's a nice country course and wasn't too wet. I was pretty happy with my round of 4 over par.We stopped in at the Crystal Kingdom on the way out of Coonabarabran - well Eva & Taemar went while I looked after Pippen, filled the van with fuel and went to Cardian's Coffee Lounge for bacon, eggs & coffee. Taemar was planning on taking Eva to the Crystal Castle near Byron for her Birthday, but with the change in plans this didn't work out, so the Crystal Kingdom was the backup plan ☺
We then drove to Armidale via Gunnedah and Tamworth. In Gunnedah we stopped to check out some impressive silo art which is a celebration of the fanmous poem, "I love a sunburnt country".In Tamworth we stopped at O'Brien's autoglass and got a windscreen chip repaired - in and out in less than 30 minutes, impressive!
When we arrived in Armidale we picked up Stephen and then went to Wendy & Bernie's, setup the van in the driveway and then had cake for Eva's Birthday. Finally, we dropped Stephen back to college and picked up a veggie burger for Eva and ordered home (well, van in driveway) delivered Domino's pizza!
