First day we picked up our 6 berth Apollo Euro Deluxe van. We were a little overwhelmed by all the features and all the things that you need to do in the right order to make things work correctly! Plus...it's big...so we had a couple of practice drives in the parking lot :-)
First trip : Mike drove from Taren Point where we picked up the van to Church Point to show Cec & Brian the van. The van is pretty easy to drive and although longer than a car, obviously, the side pirrors and the reverse camera give a great view so you actually feel like you can see more than a regular car. Being quite high off the ground also helps.
Cec & Brian met us across the road at Byra and hd coats and backpacks. Brian greeted Mike with, "We travel light and we're ready to go!" Hopefully, Mike's face didn't display the turmoil & panic that was gripping his mind...
Next it was back to Dee Why to start trying to figure out where everything would fit.
