Agnes Water to Yeppoon - we weren't planning on travelling to Yeppoon originally but multiple people tod us that Yeppoon is a great spot and so is Great Keppel Island.
First impressions are that there has been a lot of investment in the community facilities, particularly along the foreshore. The boardwalk and the water park are both lovely & we're looking forward to exploring more of Yeppoon tomorrow and then Great Keppel Island on Friday.
We're staying at a small park called Maine that's very close to town and the beach and suits us perfectly!
We did also stop for coffee in Calliope and we attempted to get the air conditioner in the van fixed at Capricorn Caravan in Rockhampton, but to no avail...apparently the motherboard is fried! Fortnately we have two fans that we bought from Anaconda before we left Sydney and they do the job quite well.
